With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, the majority of which was spent providing care in emergency departments, I've witnessed firsthand the growing challenges patients face in accessing timely medical attention. Emergency rooms have become increasingly overcrowded, and many patients endure long wait times for conditions that could be more appropriately addressed in an urgent care setting or by a primary care provider.
Unfortunately, scheduling a prompt appointment with a primary care physician or nurse practitioner is often difficult.  This gap in care access inspired me to develop a more efficient and patient-centered solution.
